WeavingGem is designed as an offline-first, local application. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) like your name or email address within the app itself.

If you join our TestFlight Beta program, Apple may share your email address and crash reports with us to facilitate the beta testing process.

If you sign up for early access or our newsletter on this website, we collect the email address you provide through our signup form. That information is processed by MailerLite, our email service provider, so we can send you beta invitations and product updates.

2. Analytics

In the app: To help us improve WeavingGem and fix bugs, the iOS app uses PostHog to collect anonymous usage data. This includes events like "WIF File Imported" or "Session Completed." This data is fully anonymized and cannot be traced back to your identity.

On this website: We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors find and use our marketing pages — for example, which pages are viewed and how users navigate the site. Google may collect information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and general location (country/region). We use this data in aggregate to improve the site. We also use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with our marketing pages — for example, through session recordings, heatmaps, and click or scroll analytics. Microsoft may collect similar technical information (such as IP address, browser type, device type, and general location). We use this data to improve the site. 3. Your Files

Any WIF files you import are stored locally on your device. We do not upload, read, or transmit your personal weaving drafts to our servers.
