How do I save color changes with Save and Save as…?
After you change colors in Details and Colors, use the pattern menu:
- Save writes color overrides back to the current WIF when the file is writable.
- Save as… creates a new WIF so you keep the original untouched.
Tip
If you are unsure, prefer Save as…. It is the safer way to keep your original draft alongside a yarn-matched copy.
