How do I save color changes with Save and Save as…?
After you change colours in Details and Colors, use the pattern menu:
- Save writes your colour changes back into the current WIF file, when that file can be written.
- Save as… creates a new WIF so you keep the original untouched.
Tip
If you are unsure, prefer Save as…. It keeps your original draft alongside a yarn-matched copy.
