Library and WIF
How do I import a WIF draft into my library?
WeavingGem imports standard .wif files. You design in your drafting tool, then use WeavingGem as a weave tracker at the loom.
- In the library, tap Open WIF File, or open a .wif attachment from Files, AirDrop, Mail, or iCloud Drive.
- WeavingGem reads threading, treadling, tie-up, and colors when the file provides them.
- Drafts from four through sixteen shafts are supported.
Free includes two successful imports. Sample patterns and Duplicate do not use an import slot. A third import asks you about WeavingGem Pro.
Note
WeavingGem is not a pattern drafting app. It does not redesign structure inside the WIF. Color matching is available in Details and Colors.
