How do I use WeavingGem on my Apple Watch?
You can check your place and move to the next group from your Apple Watch while your hands stay near the loom. Start the session on your iPhone first, because the watch follows what your iPhone has open.
How do I start a session on my watch?
Open Warp, Thread, or Weave on your iPhone, then open WeavingGem on your watch. The watch shows your place and moves along with your iPhone.
- Start Warp, Thread, or Weave on your iPhone.
- Open WeavingGem on your Apple Watch.
- Tap to move to the next group, or swipe to go back.
On supported watches with watchOS 11 or later, you can use Double Tap to move forward without touching the screen.
How do I install the watch app?
Open the Watch app on your iPhone, go to Available Apps, find WeavingGem, and tap Install.
Does the watch work with iPad?
No. Apple Watch pairs with iPhone only, so the watch can't follow a session on iPad. Your library and settings stay on your iPhone or iPad.
Tip
Leave Keep Screen Awake on in Session settings. It's on by default, and it helps your iPhone stay ready to sync with the watch while you weave.
