How does WeavingGem track weaving picks?
Open a pattern, choose Weave, and follow each pick at the loom. Each coloured bead shows the weft yarn for that pick, and either the treadle to press or the shaft (or shafts) to lift, depending on your loom.
Set treadles vs shafts, and jack vs counterbalance, under Settings (cog) → Loom Setup. To review the tie-up and full draft while you weave, tap the eye icon for View draft.
Picks appear in a weaving group. After you have thrown every pick in that group, move on by tapping the screen, using the forward control, swiping forward, or saying “next” if Voice Control is on. Change how many picks are in a group under Settings → Weaving Focus.
If you make a mistake, reverse with the back control, a reverse swipe, or “back” on Voice Control.
When you reach the end of a repeating draft, tap to loop and continue from the beginning. Your place saves if you leave the app.
