How does WeavingGem track warping?
Open a pattern, choose Warp, and follow the warp colour order while you wind. Each coloured bead shows which yarn to wind next and which end number you are on.
Ends appear in a group based on ends per tap in Settings → Warp Focus. When you have wound every end in the group, move on by tapping the screen, using the forward control, swiping forward, or saying “next” if Voice Control is on.
If you make a mistake, reverse with the back control, a reverse swipe, or “back” on Voice Control. Warping progress saves separately from threading and weaving, so you can leave and return to the same draft.
When you are ready to dress the loom, open the same pattern and choose Thread. When you are ready to weave picks, choose Weave.
On iPhone, an open Warp session can also sync to the Apple Watch companion so you can advance from your wrist. See How do I use the Apple Watch companion?.
Counting-thread and bout reminders
Optional counting-thread and bout reminders in Settings → Warp Focus mark milestones while you wind. The reminders mark where you are. How you tie, park, or wrap yarn stays your call.
