How do I get started with WeavingGem?
WeavingGem is a friendly weave tracker. It helps you prevent errors so you can keep your focus on your weaving.
Here is a calm path for your first session.
- Open WeavingGem on iPhone or iPad. On first launch you may see Welcome to WeavingGem, which explains the free try and WeavingGem Pro.
- Try a sample pattern from your library, such as Cats and Snails Overshot, Leaves, or Log Cabin. Samples do not count toward your free import limit.
- Tap a pattern card, then choose Thread or Weave. Large gemstone beads show where you are.
- Import your own draft when you are ready with Open WIF File. Free includes two imported patterns. See How do I import a WIF draft into my library?.
Tip
Your place saves automatically. Close the app, reopen the same pattern later, and continue where you left off.
